Leaders' Quest started to build bridges between complex and contradictory issues for me. Economic development, like business, is not bad but nor is it cost free. Understanding both sides of economic growth was confronting, but made it more real. We saw the impact of dismantling family structures, growing problems in mental health and suicide, environmental degradation and social infrastructure that cannot keep pace. These are by-products of growth and a wake up call for all economies.
