Adam McDonald, Executive Vice President, Skanska UK

Adam joins us from Skanska UK, a prominent construction and development company. Adam plays a crucial role overseeing the company’s national building operations. The 1,500-strong team is responsible for designing, planning, building, fitting out and maintaining some of the most important buildings in the country – including defense facilities, schools, hospitals, workplaces and data centers. 

One area Adam is particularly passionate about is digital transformation in construction and facilities management. He sees great potential in smart tech and data-driven methods to improve how we construct and maintain buildings by creating infrastructure that enables them to seamlessly interact with their surroundings and by using digital solutions to lower carbon in construction and decarbonise assets throughout the building lifecycle, it will ensure they’re more efficient and optimized for their users, paving the way for a more sustainable future.
